The Bison Alumni Newsletter board wants all our members to know about the changes going on with our newsletter. Earlier this year, our newsletter director, Kerri Long, and her family moved from McCook to Casa Grande, Arizona. We sure miss Kerri and truly appreciate the four years of dedicated service she gave to our group. She had big shoes to fill when she took the job and worked hard to improve on the newsletter and get us ready for the future.
Earlier this month we were thrilled to hire Tori Tietz Hegwood ('16) as our newsletter director. Tori will be a great asset to BAN and we are excited to see the direction the newsletter will take under her care. Please see the fall newsletter to read more about Tori!
Because of this change, we will not be publishing a spring edition of the Bison Alumni newsletter. We will have a fall edition coming out in October and feel blessed that through the wonders of technology, Tori and Kerri will be working together to produce it. The bisonalumni.com website and Bison Alumni Newsletter Facebook page will still be up and active during this time.
The BAN board will be working closely with Tori and with our class reps as we get ready to make decisions about what the future of the newsletter will be. With the high costs of producing a paper version of the newsletter, we are looking at transitioning to an online version of the newsletter. Whatever decisions we make, we will definitely let you know about them before they go into place.
If you have any article ideas for the newsletter, have information to share, or need to get a hold of us, please send an email to me at pdlyons@gpcom.net or to Tori at victoria@
GO BISON!
