The Hutt family moved to Broken Bow, NE the summer of 1969. Dad and Mom (Hubert and Neva) purchased the Arrow Hotel there and also continued their teaching careers. Older sisters Susie and Karen had graduated high school from McCook, so only my younger brother, Corbin, younger sister Jennifer, and myself were students in the Broken Bow school system. After graduating BBHS I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Kearney State College, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in education from UN-L in December of 1976. In May of 1975 Rod Armstrong and I were married in Lincoln, NE and have resided here since. We have two children. Ben is now 32, married to Kate (Rundstrom) of Kearney, NE, and has our only grandchild, a magical little boy named Clement who is almost 2 1/2 years old. They live in Lincoln as well. :) Daughter Kate (Yes it DOES get confusing!) is 28 and married to Rikard Johansson of Bengtsfors, Sweden. They live in Omaha, and we are SO lucky to have everyone so close! Husband Rod works for the AIM Institute which is based in Omaha. AIM just opened a Lincoln office recently so Rod's office is there and he is enjoying not having the daily two hour commute! I am retired from teaching and spend my time providing child care to Clem. We have a ton of fun and most days you would be hard-pressed to tell the adult from the child!! I have a lot of great memories from McCook and would love to catch up with some of the old gang.
