I honorably served in the U.S. Navy onboard a nuclear submarine. For a brief period I was involved with restuarant management. The bulk of my professional career has been in sales. I have sold autos, electronics, insurance, mortgages and most recently furniture. I met my wife Carolyn in 1991. We married August 10th 1996. Carolyn is a native of Omaha and a graduate of Westside High, UNL and the College of St. Mary where she is currently the Administrative Assistant to the CFO. We have no children together, she is the proud step mother and grandmother to my children/grandchildren.

I feel very fortunate to be included with this graduating class. Circumstances my sophmore year found me leaving McCook for South Dakota. Although I missed out on the remaining two years of McCook Sr. High, I came back to McCook after my Senior year and picked up where I left off with my close friends. I have many, many fond memories in McCook. I always feel welcomed and included in subsequent school events and reunions. I feel so lucky to have been raised in McCook. My classmates are a class act.
