finished school in Switzerland, ending with MBA in '72
joined IBM and worked with the company for 35 years until April 2008 when retiring as Chairman of Europe,Middle East, Africa. 124 countries, 100'000 employees., a 35 B$ complex company but a great job out of Paris.
While active on several corporate boards that bring me to the US often, I also spent two years at Harvard in 2009/10 becoming a Senior Fellow of Advanced Leadership at Harvard University.
So clearly my year in '64 as a Bison had influenced my life to a large extent.
I have ended my mandates in several Fortune 500 Corporation Boards and Advisory Boards of Business School. The onlyremaining active mandate is Chairman of the Foundation Board of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival and Academy.
We own a Chalet in Gstaad and spend most of summer up in the mountains enjoying hiking, golfing and great concerts during the Festival.

Having been the first foreign Exchange Student to McCook Senior High School it is obvious that I can call this one of the most decisive years of my life. It had more impact on me than anything before and clearly shaped my life.
Having been back at Harvard as a Fellow of Advanced Leadership in 2009 and 2010 kind of rounded up my experience as a student in the US.
