Comments on Louise are by Terry Byrd '54. Louise and her sister Josephine '43 were family friends. After MHS Louise became a country school teacher for 2-3 years, including at Perry School, then was employed at the Army Air Base. Following that she worked at a local insurance agency, leaving McCook in the '50's to work in the insurance industry in Phoenix AZ for a few years before moving to downtown Los Angeles where she and Josephine worked for one or more national insurance companies until Louise passed in 1982 from cancer.
Good to see you made it to the ‘70 th reunion. Keep on keeping on Kieth.

Hang in there Bob!
Bob, did you think it was going to be this much fun?
Happy Birthday Dixie. We’re half way to 178.
We’ll look at you. Beat me to the next B/D again. Eat a piece of cake for me.
Everett was my Dad’s ( Cliff Byrd ) older brother. After MHS he moved to Denver, married and had three children and at least 2 grandchildren from his Son Delbert. Everett had a long career with the Union Pacific railroad and was foreman of the Wheel House before he retired. The Wheel House performed repair and replacement of wheels and axles on engines and rail cars. Everett died in Denver approximately 1973 but I have been unsuccessful in finding an obituary or grave record.
