Edward Raymond Jordan, 82, of 3310 Lester Ave, died at 1 pm Wednesday at Methodist Evangelical Hospital. He was retired, having been a secretary and bookkeeper.

Ray was born in McCook, Red Willow, NE; was in the 1909 graduating class of McCook, Ne and moved first to Great Falls, MT with his family about 1911. He married Bessie Rishel of Gage Co, NE and they had five children: Gayle, Virginia, Helen, Robert and Leland. They moved to Seattle in 1929. By 1942 he was divorced and living in Wheaton, DuPage, IL. as evidenced by his WWII Draft Registration Card. In later years he moved to Louisville, KY and married the former Stella Calvert, who survives.
