Bessie was one of three children born to Thomas Fremont Rowell and Charlotte Arista Meck. Her siblings were Minnie A. Rowell and Glenn Carson Rowell. She married Walter Willits Wright 26 Sep 1910. There were three children of this union, Gladys Lucile, Jane Louise and Walter Sidney. After the death of her husband Walter in 1923, she married John Crump in 1932. She is inurned with her second daughter, Jane Louise.
