Betty Jean Boehm 67 died Oct 18 1993 at Community Hospital in Syracuse Ks She was born July 26 1926 in Kearney to Edgar and Bonnie (Parham) Teeple. She moved with her family to Fairbury before coming to McCook where she grew up and graduated from high school. She attended McCook Junior College. On Nov 13 1947 she married Fredie Boehm. They continued to live in McCook where she was employed by the Dept. of Soc. Services for 19 years and for a period of time was director of the department. She was a 54 yr. member of the First Congregational Church; Eureka Chapter 86 Order of the Eastern Star; Beta Sigma Phi and Legal Secretaries. Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother Benard Teeple Survivors include her husband of McCook and Brad Boehm and wife Audrey of Rapid City S.D.; two daughters Georgia and husband David Ziegler of Kasson Minn. and Laura Jo and husband Lonnie Malleck of Syracuse; and 7 grandchildren.
