Charles Cappel was well known in Culbertson, he having been the owner and operator here from May 1947 to May of the following year, when he sold out to R.J. Snyder. Since leaving here, he had married and become the operator of a farm in the Perry neighborhood east of here. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, one daughter, his mother, Mrs. Julia Cappel of McCook, and several brothers and sisters.
