Buddy Lee Ahrens

McCOOK, Neb. -- Buddy Lee Ahrens, age 57, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at his home in McCook.

Buddy was born on Oct. 9, 1958, to Albert "Bud" and Helen Coraline (Matson) Ahrens in McCook. He graduated from McCook High School in 1977.

Buddy was a hotrod enthusiast and he loved to watch movies.

Survivors include his son, Kenneth Ahrens of McCook and grandson, Erik Ahrens; daughter, Elizabeth (Romeo) Ayalin of Ladonia, Ala., and their daughter, Lindsey; former spouse, Kristine Ahrens of Colby, Kan.; sisters, Susie Jarvis, Tammy Witt and Cindy Ahrens.

He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Sylvia Ahrens.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Terry McCorkle officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
