Robert Baruth - Class Of 1951

 

 Robert A. “Bob” Baruth, 83, died Oct. 5, 2016, at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman. He was born Aug. 20, 1933, at Hastings, Nebraska the son of Elmer Paul and Laura George Baruth. A longtime Kingman resident, he was a retired science teacher and assistant track coach at Kingman High School. Bob was a member of the United Methodist Church; and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. On March 28, 1959, he married Karen Dee Martin at Manhattan; she survives. Other survivors include three sons, Michael and his wife Sara, Kirk, David and his wife Wendy; daughter Stacey Decker and her husband Kent; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Donald. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Kingman United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made with the Kingman United Methodist Church, Wheatlands Healthcare Center or the Kingman VFW, all in care of the funeral home.
