Mabel Elizabeth (Jordan) Conover of 2017 2nd Avenue No, Great Falls, MT died 1 Nov 1963 moments after entering the hospital.
She was born Mabel Jordan on 10 apr 1877, the daughter of VanDelia Annis VanSickle and Edward Dominicus Jordan, at Grand Island, NE. She was reared and graduated from high school at McCook, NE. She married Hervy Walter Conover in McCook in 1902 and in 1911 they came with their three children to Great Falls. Her husband was a RR Conductor and his job brought him to GF.
Mabel was a member of the Women's Benefit Association. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1958, and is survived by her sons Merlyn and Harold; and daughter, Helen (Albert E) Altenbach all of Great Falls; a brother Edward Raymond Jordan of Louisville, KY; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
