Sister of Valentine Emery Simons and Celia Berdina Simons.

Wife of William Clinton Bulger. They were married February 2, 1901 at the J. F. Kenyon residence in McCook, Red Willow County, Nebraska.

Mother of William Simons Bulger, Harry Hammond, Larry and Gordon Whitney Bulger.

Ona first attended school at Grinnell, Poweshiek County, Iowa and then at Omaha. The last four or five years of her school work was in McCook, Red Willow County, Nebraska. She graduated from McCook High School on June 15, 1895. After graduation, she taught school and also worked at a dry goods store there. While in McCook, she lived with her uncle and aunt John F. Kenyon and Viola E. Woods Kenyon. She was a member of the Congregational Church in McCook.
