Mary Genevieve Shallenberger, 73, a retired financial and executive secretary for the pediatrics department of the University of Kansas Medical School, died Jan 11, 1986, at Boswell Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Shallenberger, of Sun City, was born in Lenox, Iowa, and moved to Arizona 13 years ago from Kansas. She was a former secretary for the Nebraska Highway Department and the director of research and analysis for Kansas Public Health Service and a member of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church and Harmony Organ Club. Survivors include her husband, Onslow, son Onslow III; a sister and a brother. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. with rosary at 5 p.m. today at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave. Sun City.
