Mabel Lenhart died Monday, January 14, 1991 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook at the age of 83. She was born October 24, 1907 at Culbertson, the daughter of John and Barbara (Bauer) Lenhart.

She grew up in Culbertson and graduated from McCook High School in 1930.

She spent most of her life in McCook, where she was a bookkeeper for McCook Lumber Company. She was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Joe, Henry, and Ed; and three sisters, Amelia Kline, Mary Fitzwater, and Katie Russell.

Survivors include two sisters, Lydia Webber of McCook; and Emma Groothuis of Culbertson.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Herrmann Memorial Chapel in McCook with the Rev. Gilbert Jackson officiating. Interment will be in the Culbertson Cemetery. Herrmann Funeral Home of McCook is in charge of arrangements.
