OBERLIN, Kan. — Jacob Alexander Cash, age 29, of Oberlin, had his final journey on Saturday, May 28, 2022, in Red Willow County, Neb.
Jacob was born June 17, 1992, in McCook to parents, Jerry Andrew and Ginger Lynn (Kehler) Cash, Sr. He was one of five siblings. Jacob graduated from McCook High School with the Class of 2012.
On July 17, 2021, Jacob married Jasmine (Pearson) Cash at Red Willow Lake near McCook. The couple had one daughter, Jaydynn. Jacob’s hobbies included collecting dragons and looking for bargains at the thrift store. He was also an avid gamer.
Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill (Marcella) Kehler; paternal grandfather, Melvin Cash; and two uncles, Frog and Turbo Kehler.
Those left to celebrate his life include his wife, Jasmine Cash of Oberlin; daughter, Jaydynn Cash; parents, Jerry Cash of Tennessee and Ginger Cash and partner, Don Franke, of McCook; siblings, Andrew (Shana) Cash of Georgia, Karl Cash of Tennessee, Liz (Glenn) Taylor, Rachel (Cebastian) Manley and CJ (Shianne) Franke, all of McCook, Aundrea Gonzalez of Curtis, Neb., and Kaylee Franke of Louisiana; paternal grandmother, Peggy Cash of Tennessee; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life gathering will be from 1 to 6 p.m., on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at the Red Willow Lake Swim Beach.
