Manuel Cuellar died Sunday, December 4 1988, at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital of Omaha at the age of 62. He was born to Mike and Mary (Luevano) Cuellar on September 27, 1926 in McCook. He was a life-long resident of McCook.
He married Marilyn M. Cline at Trenton on January 19, 1953. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of the home, three sons, Michael of Indianola, Thomas of McCook, and Steven of Culbertson, one daughter, Cheryl Lepper of Lexington; six brothers, Pete of Chicago, Illinois; John of Columbia, Missouri, Frank of Omaha, and Joe, Albert, and Richard, all of McCook; five sisters, Margaret Calvillo and Juanita Bittner, both of Chicago, Veda Gilmore of Fort Collins, Colorado, Delores Doughery of Scottsbluff, and Josephine Clark of McCook and eight grandchildren.
