Marcella Kircher
Marcella M. Kircher, 73, of Grand Island died Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. James Cooper will officiate. Following services, Mrs. Kircher's body will be cremated with burial of the ashes at a later date in the Indianola Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mrs. Kircher was born on July 22, 1926, at Haigler to Frank and Mary Agnes (Vontz) Yager. She grew up and was educated at McCook, graduating from high school in 1944.
She married Roger Kircher on June 20, 1944. After World War II, they lived and farmed at Indianola. They later lived at Saronville, Waverly, Mo., and Marshall, Minn. They also lived at York and retired at Grand Island in 1985.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Rex of York and Gary of Endicott, N.Y.; three daughters, Gloria Stett of McCool Junction, Marcia Dubord of Friend and Julie Cannafax of Kansas City, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Martin F. Yager of Albuquerque, N.M.
She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert.
