DENVER, Colo. -- Dale A. Bradshaw, age 80, died on Saturday (Jan. 13, 2007) following a battle with cancer.
He was born Feb. 23, 1926, in the town of McCook, to the late Bert and Mabel Bradshaw. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, stationed at Alamogordo, NM. He married Marjorie Poore June 10, 1945, in McCook. He was united in marriage with Doris Wood in Longmont, Colo., Dec. 7, 1980.

He worked as a salesman for International Harvester, McCook, Eaton Metal, Ogallala, Rain Chief Irrigation, Grand Island and as a real estate agent and broker, Longmont, Colo. He was active in McCook Jaycees; the American Legion; Lions Club, Longmont, Colo., serving as president in 1982-83; Republican party and election staff; and various churches in Nebraska, Florida and Colorado.
He is survived by his wife, Doris, his son and his wife, Craig and Carol, Kearney; his daughters and their husbands, Linda and Jerry Glass, Glen Rock, Pa., and Bonnie and John Dickerson, Colorado City, Colo.; step-sons, Randy Wood, Boulder, Colo., Dave and Mirella Wood, Longmont, Colo., Chris and Sheila Wood, Littleton, Colo., and step-daughter Linda and Guy Beutelchies, Highlands Ranch, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Carl (Nelian) Glass, Brian and Glen Glass, all of Glen Rock, Pa., Sara (Bob) Brewer and Slane (Lesha) Dickerson all of Colorado City, Colo., Laura and Mark Bradshaw of Kearney; five step-grandchildren, Joseph Wood, Longmont, Colo., Kobie and Emilee Wood, Littleton, Colo., and Jenna and Sam Beutelchies, Highlands Ranch, Colo.; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Dr. Jack (Lois) Bradshaw, Kingsville, Texas.
He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie, and a brother, Glenn.
