Mabel Russell (Delong) - Class Of 1941
Mabel DeLong, 84, died Thursday (April 28, 2005) at Arbor Manor in Fremont. She was born March 30, 1921. She had lived in Republican City, McCook and Fremont. She worked for Fremont Public Schools for 13 years and retired in 1981. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Eastern Star, Eureka Chapter 86 of McCook for 56 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd DeLong; three sisters; and one brother. Survivors include her son, Russell DeLong of McCook; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services are Monday (10 a.m.) at First Baptist Church in Fremont. Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
