Phyllis J. Thomas, 47, of San Luis Osbispo died Wednesday at a San Luis Osbispo hospital. Phyllis was born January 11, 1922 in McCook, Nebraska to Ernest Austin & Mayme (Davis) Strayer. She was the granddaughter of Cyrus "Henry" & Margaret Ellen (Niceschwander) Strayer, great granddaughter of Miley & Elmira Strayer and great great granddaughter of Martin & Rachel (Ralya) Strayer.
Phyllis married Ivan Jay Winchell March 21, 1946 in Rawlins, Wyoming. To that union was born one daughter. Ivan passed away in 1959.
Phyllis then married Robert "Jean" Thomas November 26, 1959 Raton, New Mexico.
