Christopher Botsford - Class Of 2005

Christopher R. Botsford Tuesday, May 22, 2007 Dec. 23, 1986-May 20, 2007 Christopher R. Botsford, 20, died Sunday (May 20, 2007) near Trenton from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born Dec. 23, 1986, at Garden City, Kan., to Robert and Chrystele (Bomberger) Botsford. He came to McCook in 2000 where he graduated from McCook Senior High School in 2005. He was employed by Pizza Hut before working for Parker Hannifin in 2006 where he was employed at the time of his death. He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve and a holder of the Black Belt from Botsfords Tae Kwon - Do and Martial Arts School in McCook. Survivors include his father, Robert Botsford of McCook; his mother, Chrystele Botsford and companion, Bill Wamsley of North Platte; one brother, Bryan Botsford of McCook; a grandmother, Twila Botsford of Lexington; grandfather, Bruce Botsford of Anaheim, Calif.; step-brother Rico Quezada of Fremont; and step-sisters, Tina Rodriquez of Lexington, Monica Rodriquez of Fort Morgan, Colo., and Marcy Hernandez of McCook; and step-mother Ester Quezada of McCook. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday at Peace Lutheran Church in McCook with Rev. Brad Rick officiating. Interment will be in the Floral Lawn Memorial Garden Cemetery at North Platte. Memorials may be given in his name and friends may call at Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook from 9 a.m-9 p.m. Herrmann Funeral Home of McCook is in charge of arrangements.
