Dorothy Gidmond passes away- Indianola 1-5-1981
Dorothy E Gidmond died Monday evening at the McCook Community Hospital at the age of 45.
She was born July 8, 1935 at Mccook to the late Walter and Mollie Unger. She grew up on a farm north of Mccook, graduated from high school in 1953. and was married on Jun 5 1960 to Harold Gidmond.
She spent her married life in Indianola where she was employed by Lords Hardware and Appliances for 14 years. Dorothy was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church of McCook.
She is survived by her husband Harold and two Brothers, Ed Unger of McCook and John Unger of Indianola.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan 8 at 10 am at the Peace Lutheran Church in Mccook. The Rev. John Raess will officiate and interment will be in the Indianola cemetery under the direction of Herrmann Funeral Home.
Friends and Relatives may call at the Herrmann Funeral Chapel in Indianola on Wednesday.
