CULBERTSON -- Ruth Hagan, 69, died Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge.
She was born February 23, 1933, to Frank and Freda (Miller) Carroll in the Quick Community in Frontier County. She grew up in McCook where she graduated from McCook High School in 1952.
On December 15, 1953, she married Don Hagan at Norfolk, Virginia. They made their home in Grant where she helped her husband in their custom harvesting and trucking business. They moved to Culbertson in 1964 where they spent the remainder of their lives.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary at Culbertson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Frankie Carroll; and one granddaughter.
Survivors include two sons, Don Hagan Jr. and wife, Pat; and Bruce Hagan and wife, Susan of Culbertson; three daughters, Donna and husband, Gary Olson; and Deb and husband, Jeff Huss of Culbertson; and Christy and husband, Gary Allen of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Jack S. Carroll of North Platte; and Robert Carroll of Bellevue; three sisters, Dorothy and husband, Kyle Anderson of Bellevue; Marilyn Johnson of Ralston; and Alice and husband, Bob Rigo of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
