Ruby L. Dack, 73, died Friday (June 1, 2007) at Community Hospital in McCook.

She was born Dec. 23, 1933, in McCook to Joseph Edward and Maude Cecil (Tubbs) Dack. She graduated from McCook High School in 1951.

After graduation she began her employment with First National Bank and then moved to McCook National Bank as a cashier. She worked for a total of 40 years before retiring.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph and Maude Dack and five brothers, Grover, Alvin, Edwin, Joseph and Bradley, Sr.

Survivors include her brother, Dean Dack and wife, Vera, of McCook; sister, Opal Dack of McCook; 12 nieces and nephews; and 24 great-nieces and great-nephews; numerous cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Chapel with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. Burial will be in the Indianola Cemetery.
