Cleora Fern "Fern" (Harbaugh) Marti was born to her loving parents Milo Byrd and Cordelia V. (McGuire) Harbaugh on Sunday March 4, 1906 at Russell, Russell County Nebraska. Fern was born the third of five siblings. My research found no information on Fern's early childhood. Fern graduated from McCook Senior High in 1923. Fern received schooling to become a teacher at the University of Nebraska. Fern was united in marriage to Lloyd Marti on Christmas Day Sunday December 25, 1927 at 1:30p at Lincoln, Lancaster County Nebraska, they were blessed with two sons over the year of their marriage. Fern taught at the Havelock Pubic Schools Lancaster County. Fern sadly passed away on Wednesday February 19, 1964 at the age of 57 years, 11 months, 15 days
