Marvin Loshbaugh - Class Of 1960

HUDSON, N.H. -- Marvin D. Loshbaugh, 63, died Thursday (Feb. 23, 2006) at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, N.H.

He was born June 6, 1942, in Brush, Colo., to Howard and Opal (McCracken) Loshbaugh.

He married Rita Bourre.

He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, specializing in submarines.

He received a bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University in 1982. He was a technical writer.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a cub master for the Cub Scouts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Loshbaugh.

Survivors include his wife, Rita of Hudson; sons, David and wife, Darlene Loshbaugh of Riverton, Utah, and James Loshbaugh of Hudson; daughters, Lisa and husband, Charles Mitchell of Santaquinn, Utah, Catherine and husband, Michael Ehlers Jr. of Hudson and Julie and husband, Tony Lambias of Phoenixville, Pa.; his mother, Opal Loshbaugh of New Ulm, Minn.; brothers, Richard and wife, Christine Loshbaugh of Irvine, Calif., and Robert and wife, Renalle Loshbaugh of McCook; sisters, Lana and husband, Doug Owens of New Ulm, Carol and husband, Kurt Siats of St. Charles, Mo., and Judy and husband, Bart Bieker of Webster City, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services were today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Nashua. Interment was in the Hills Farm Cemetery in Hudson.
