Deb Rosenwinkel (Huber) - Class Of 1970

KEARNEY -- Deborah A. "Deb" Huber, 53, died Wednesday (Sept. 28, 2005) at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

She was born Jan. 11, 1952, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Marjie LaDene Crumley Rosenwinkel and Kurt W. Rosenwinkel. She grew up in Omaha and McCook where she attended and graduated from McCook High School. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in speech language pathology at Kearney State College and a master's degree in audiology degree at the University of Northern Colorado.

She married Hugh Huber on Nov. 7, 1992, in Kearney. She worked as an Audiologist at UNK and ESU 10 before retirement.

She was a member of Grace Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjie Ladene Crumley Rosenwinkel.

Survivors include her husband, Hugh Huber of Kearney; her father, Kurt Rosenwinkel of Omaha; her sister, Mary Reiners and husband, Tom Reiners of Plattsmouth; and two nephews.

Services will be Monday, 10 a.m., at the Grace Fellowship in Kearney with the Rev. Bruce Demmel officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Visitation will be Sunday, 5-7 p.m., at the O'Brien-Straatmann-Apfel Funeral Home in Kearney.
