Lori Jean (Baumfalk) Hoff, 42, died Wednesday (June 14, 2006) at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

She was born in Oberlin, on May 25, 1964, to Eugene and Cleta (Riley) Baumfalk. She graduated from McCook High School in 1982 and attended McCook Community College.

She was a homemaker and mother of two.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Gilbert Riley and Harry Hein.

Survivors include her son, Jay Baumfalk and special friend, Angie Rathe; one daughter, Kali Hoff; her parents, Eugene and Cleta Baumfalk; three brothers, Paul Baumfalk and wife, Adrienne, Ray Felker and Don Felker and wife, Lisa; a special cousin who lived with the family for several years, Jackie Baumfalk; and grandmothers, Vonnie Riley and Hannah Hein, all of McCook

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with the Rev. Clark Bates officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
