Robert Heney - Class Of 1964
Robert John Heney, 50, of Flower Mound, Texas, died April 9, 1996, in Denton County, Texas, after his ultra light crashed into a wheat field in northern Denton County.
He was born Feb. 1, 1946, in Garden City, Kan.
He was a local elder with Global Mission Church of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada, and held memberships with the Dental Lab Association, Experimental Aircraft Association, United Commerce Travelers, and Top of Texas Ratite Association.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Heney, whom he married July 4, 1968, in Laramie, Wy.; daughter, Jill Heney of Boise, Idaho’ son, Joel Heney of Flower Mound; brother, Greg Harper of Albany, N.Y.; sister, Marilyn Henninger of Conn.; and his mother, Thelma Harper of Salt Lake City,Utah.
Services were Saturday, April 13, 1996, at Dalton & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Connell, Elder Jerry Koltes and the Rev. Art Wagar officiating. Burial was in the Flower Mound Cemetery.
