KEARNEY, Neb. — Dustin Allan Kircher, 35, of Kearney, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, due to complications from lifelong asthma. He passed peacefully at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, surrounded by his family and friends.
Dusty was born on Sept. 10, 1983, to Mike and Val (Anderson) Kircher. On June 7, 2008, he married the love of his life, Schuyler (Cole) Kircher. He was a 2002 graduate of McCook High School and 2005 graduate from Mason City, Iowa School of Auctioneering. Dusty spent the last six years employed by McElhinny Builders, who became a second family. Dusty was a loving, family man with a zest for life, who never met a stranger.
Dusty was greeted in heaven by his paternal grandfather, Gary Kircher; maternal great-grandmother, Vera Miller; grandmother, Flora Lundberg and father-in-law, Richard Cole.
His legacy will be carried on by his wife, Skye. Other survivors are his children, Calie, Lilyan, and Dawson; parents, Mike and Val Kircher; brother, Aaron Kircher; sister, Deidre and husband, Todd Shafer; maternal grandparents, Allan and Barbara Anderson; paternal grandparents, Karen and Leroy Stevenson; mother-in-law, Deborah Lundberg Cole; brother-in-law, Zac Cole; nieces and nephews, Bryce, Gary, and Abbie Shafer; alone with aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members. Dusty was blessed with too many friends to count.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, 4 p.m. at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds Ag Pavilion in Kearney.
