1980 - 2026
Meghan was born on April 21st, 1980 and passed away on March 9th, 2026 at the age of 45
Meghan Gull, age 45, passed away surrounded by the love of those who knew her best. Born and raised in McCook, Nebraska, Meghan carried her small-town roots with her throughout her life. She later made her home in Lincoln, where she built a life full of connection, purpose, and joy. Meghan was deeply proud of her education, earning her master’s degree in forensic science from Nebraska Wesleyan University—an accomplishment that reflected both her intelligence and her determination. Meghan had a vibrant spirit and a gift for bringing people together. She loved Husker tailgating, especially when family came along, proudly guiding them to all her favorite spots and making sure everyone felt included. Whether it was sand volleyball, bowling, or golfing, she found joy in activity, laughter, and shared moments. At her core, Meghan was someone who cared deeply about others. She was a passionate advocate for women’s rights, a strong supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, and a voice for the humane treatment of animals. She believed in standing up for what mattered and did so with both strength and heart. Meghan will be remembered for her warmth, her loyalty, and the way she showed up for the people she loved. Her presence brought light, and her absence will be felt deeply. She is survived by her parents, Randy and Bess Gull; her sisters, Moriah (Tyler) Currie and Miranda Anderson; her niece and nephews, Macy Anderson, Jackson Gull, Owen Currie, and Charlee Schermer; as well as many other cousins and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Virginia and Chester Clifton, Nelda and Jack Gull; and her uncles, Chuck Clifton and Chet Clifton. Meghan’s life was one of connection, compassion, and quiet strength. She will be missed beyond words and remembered always.
__ Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear.
