ALLIANCE -- Martin O. "Marty" Wilson, 52, died Sunday (March 28, 2010) at Highland Park Care Center.
He was born April 8, 1957, in McCook to Clifford D. and Cora E. (Glenny) Wilson.

Prior to his illness, he had worked at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as a Conductor. Marty was an avid Husker fan and held a prominent position in the "Husker Nation." He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and gambling in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his brothers, Dennis (Cheryl) Wilson of Red Cloud, Neb., and Mark (Valerie) Wilson of Tulsa, Okla.; nieces, Kelli and Pat Daly of Kansas City, Kan., Amber and Erian Lepari of St. Louis, Mo., Ashley Wilson of Tulsa, Okla., and Dana Pegg of Norwalk, Conn.; nephews, Justin Wilson of Tulsa, Okla., and Dean and Kim Pegg of Kearney, Neb. He is also survived by the two loves of his life, Wendy Wilson and Debi Lindburg, and her children, Amber and Forrest, Steve and Shelli, and Kassidy and Keith; and grandchildren, Whitney, Derek, Tyler, Kenadi, Trevor and Tanner. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Bates-Gould Chapel with Reverend Ron Nuss-Warren officiating. At Marty's request, please wear your Husker attire.
