McCOOK, Nebraska --Jocelyn Sue Carmichael, died Sunday (Oct. 23, 2011), at the age of 54.

 

Jocelyn was born March 11, 1957, to Theodore K Britt and Dorothy Somers Britt.

She was preceded in death by both her mother, Dorothy Somers Britt and her father, Theodore K. Britt.

Survivors include children, Hailey Kirbach of Apollo Beach, Florida; Kyle Carmichael of Houston, Texas; sisters, Cory Britt of San Diego, California and Betsy Fowler of North Platte, Nebraska; brother, Theodore R. Britt of Houston, Texas; son- in-law, Quinton Kirbach; three grandchildren, Kolton, Savannah, and Kaden Kirbach of Apollo Beach.

Services will be 2:30 pm., Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in McCook, Nebraska with the Rev. Dr. Mary D. Hendricks officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Alban's columbarium.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Jocelyn Carmichael Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank in McCook.

Hermann Funeral Home of McCook is in charge of arrangements.
