Obituary
Theresa Marie Dicke passed away on January 4, 2026, in her home in McCook, NE at the age of 70.
Theresa was born on March 24, 1955, to parents Melvin G. and Mary “Polly” F. (Pollard) Grim in McCook, NE. Theresa grew up in McCook and graduated from McCook High School with the class of 1973.
Theresa married Larry “Hank” Dicke on April 12, 1980, in McCook, NE. They spent 40 years together before Hank’s passing in 2020.
In her professional life, Theresa was a manager at the Four Great Lakes Airlines. In her free time, she enjoyed creating macramé crafts and spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved traveling, gambling, camping and spending time at the lake with her close friends Diane, Deb D., Deb C., Barb and Shirley
Those left to celebrate Theresa’s life are her brother, Gary Grim of McCook, NE; stepson Jon Doyle of Palm Bay, Fl; sister-in-law, Janice (Jim) Ashby of Geneva, NE; nieces and nephews; Denise, Brandon, Marcie, and Laura as well as great nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry “Hank” Dicke, two sisters Margaret (Michael) Anderson and Mary Ann Hlavinka; and stepdaughter Chantel Doyle.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family in Theresa’s name to be designated at a later date.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, on Monday, January 19, 2026, with Pastor Terry McCorkle giving words of comfort.
Inurnment will occur after the service at the Memorial Park Columbarium in McCook, NE.
