Pam King (Olson) - Class Of 1972

 

Pamula Sue Olson 59, of Johnstown, CO passed away November 27, 2013 at the Hospice of Northern Colorado. 

Pam was born May 16, 1954 in Arkansas City, KS to Pete and Virginia King. Her family later moved to McCook, NE where she met Randy Olson, her high school sweetheart.

Pam and Randy married in 1974 and started their family in McCook, where Pam was a teacher. They moved to Ft. Collins, CO in 1987, where she continued her work as an educator until 1998.

Pam was a devoted wife and mother. Even while battling MS for 15 years, she always put her family first and found joy in spending her time with them. Those that knew her will remember her for her selfless compassion, steadfast devotion to family and friends, and her courageous and altruistic nature.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia, and her grandparents.

She is survived by her father Pete King, her husband Randy, their three children: sons Tanner (Jennifer) Olson, Chance Olson and daughter Ashley (Casey) Johnston, four grandsons, brother Scott King and family, and sister Deborah Buckley and family.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 1005 Stover St. in Ft. Collins, CO on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at1:30 p.m. and at Memorial Methodist Church in McCook, NE on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
