Joyce Jones

August 18, 1950 - August 1, 2024

NORTH PLATTE Neb. - Joyce Jones, age 73, of North Platte passed away August 1, 2024, at Great Plains Health.

Joyce, the daughter of Pearl and Elfie Weaver, was born August 18, 1950,

in McCook where she grew up.  She graduated from McCook High School and

later married Wayne Dybdahl.  They made their home in McCook and welcomed a daughter, Annette.

After she and Wayne divorced, Joyce moved to Norfolk where she worked in a hotel and there she met David Jones.  They married and moved to Pueblo, Colo., then to North Platte.

Joyce liked traveling and camping in the mountains. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Annette Dybdahl, and guardian, Elizabeth Tirado of North Platte; her sister, Gloria Malleck (Jerry) of Grand Junction, Colo.; a granddaughter, Brittni Dybdahl; and a niece and nephew.
