Jeanette Demarest, nee Thompson, the wife of Albert, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. She was 70.
Born in Oakdale, Louisiana, she lived in West Milford for 40 years coming from Paterson. Jeanette was a loved special education teacher, graduating from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, a former eucharistic minister at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church and a member of the N.J.E.A.R.

A beloved wife, mother and grandmother, along with her husband, she is survived by sons, Matthew and Jefferey, daughter Annette Juskiewicz and 10 grandchildren: Mackenzie, Peyton, Abigail, Justin, Jessica, Kate, Owen, Ryan, Dylan and Derek.

She was predeceased by her parents Dale and Iris (Joye) Thompson.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, April 12, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road. West Milford. A funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt, will be held on Monday, April 13 at 10 a.m. Final disposition will be private.
