Carl Rossitto - Class Of 1959

OMAHA -- Carl "Champ" A. Rossitto, of Omaha, passed away at the age of 67 on June 6, 2009.

He was born Nov. 15, 1941, in North Platte to Carl and Arlene Rossitto. He grew up in McCook and graduated from McCook Senior High School. He entered the U.S. Navy and served during the VietNam war.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl and mother, Arlene in 2009.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeannene; daughters, Andi and husband, John Rossitto-Willets and Jami and husband, Jason Carey and their daughter Antonia and one expected; brother, Jim Rossitto; sisters, Pat and husband, Mark Messinger of McCook, Mary and husband, Wayne Johnson and Shirley and husband, Richard Young; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Champ's life with much laughter and minimal tears was June 8, 2009 at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel) in Omaha.

Memorials may be given to the family.

Jocelyn Welch (Sheldon) (1959)

Am saddened to learn of Carl (Champs) death. I remember working with him at the local drugstore. A great sense of humor and a wonderful family! Jocelyn Welch Sheldon
