Jacolyn McLeland (Sheehan) - Class Of 1958
Jacolyn V. (McLeland) Sheehan, 73, of McHenry, passed away August 3, 2014 at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with CIDP (A neurological disorder). Born August 30, 1940, in McCook, NE to Lester and Esther McLeland. She retired after 33 years of service from McHenry Transportation, School Districts 15 & 156. She also worked many, many years for Chuck's Towing and McHenry Quick Oil Change. Jacolyn is survived by her two daughters, Sherri Damask, Dawn (Cagney) Cappelli, and one son, Lon (Siobhan) Winkler; her grandsons, Ryan and Troy Damask and Cagney and Will Cappelli; her granddaughters, Brittany, Payge and Erica Blumeyer; her two sisters, Gerri Gale and Bonnie Scheidt and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Susie Brehe (her daughter) and most recently her granddaughter, Sierra Winkler. Jackie will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is finally at peace, and with the Lord.
