TOPEKA, Kan. -- Carl Eugene Lawver, 67, died Friday (April 6, 2007), at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kan.
He was born March 16, 1940, in Decatur County, Kan., to Earl F. and Beulah W. (Smallberger) Lawver.
In 1987, he married Donita Smith in Kearney.
Survivors include his wife, Donita of Topeka; three children, Lori and husband, Kevin Hostleter of Kimball, Rick and wife, Terri Lawver of St. Paul. Stephanie and husband, Kevin Harrison of Dighton, Kan.; four step-children; one brother, Roger and wife, Carol Lawver of Glendale, Ariz.; one sister Bonnie and husband, George Payne of McFarland, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 15 step-great-grandchildren.
Graveside inurnment will be Friday, 2 p.m., at the Oberlin Cemetery.
Herrmann Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
