Annette Lepper (Snyder) - Class Of 1956

Mary Annette Snyder, age 81, of McCook, NE passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at her home in Brookdale, McCook. Annette was born to William H. and Neva (Otis) Lepper on August 3, 1938 in Trenton, NE. She attended school in McCook, graduating from McCook High School with the Class of 1956. Annette married Johnnie Nicholson on November 15, 1957 in McCook. Up until that time, Annette worked at St. Catherine’s Hospital. The couple made their home in both Danbury, NE and Lebanon, NE, and were the proud parents to four children. Annette was married to Bart Snyder on January 13, 1984 and move near Oberlin, KS where the couple farmed in Sherman Township. They were members of the Prairie Chapel Methodist Church and Memorial United Methodist Church Annette enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, who share fond memories of staying with them at the farm. She also enjoyed crocheting and making baby blankets for all her friends and family. Annette never missed an opportunity to attend one of her children’s or grandchildren’s events. She will be remembered for visiting the other residents in Brookdale with her dog, Callie, each day just to make them smile. Annette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bart Snyder; brothers, Bill, Larry and Bob Lepper; sisters, Betty Harper, Marilyn Shadley, Charlotte Groothius and Carol Matson; and her step daughter, Kim Atchinson. Those left to celebrate her life include her sons, Mike (Melinda) Nicholson of Moore, OK and Jeff (Marilea) Nicholson of Indianola, NE; two daughters, Tami (Steve) Krull of Curtis, NE and Linda (Greg) Parde of McCook; two step daughters, Teresa Meitl of Kansas City, MO and Yvonne Johnson of Arizona; brothers, Rusty Lepper and Mike (Sherry) Lepper; sisters, Sandra (Burch) Diederich and Laurie (Sam) Dybdahl; brother in law, Melvin Harper; sister in law, Lois Lepper; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and close friends.
