Sharla J. Trotter, 77, of Lakewood, passed away Dec. 12, 2014. She was born June 8, 1937, in Stratton, Nebraska, the daughter of Ervin and Wilma (Romine) Ross. She graduated from McCook High School in 1955. On April 7, 1961, she married John Trotter of Edgewater, Colorado.
Sharla is survived by her loving husband, John, of Lakewood; son, Scott (Denise) Trotter of Elizabeth, Colorado; daughter, Michelle (Robert) Miller of East Amherst, New York; two grandchildren, Rachelle Miller and Justin Miller; a great-grandchild, Brandon Miller-Salas, all of East Amherst; sister, Shirley Berry of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and brother, Dallas (Patricia) Ross of Larkspur, Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Ross.
