OMAHA, Nebraska -- Rodney Glenn Hays, 77, died Tuesday (Feb. 25, 2014), in Omaha.

He was born Jan. 5, 1937, in Elwood, Nebraska, to Pearl and Verna Hays.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Pat Morris Hays; sister, Pat Peters and daughter, Moni Hays.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Mike Hays; daughter, Mishelle Hays; step-son, Tim (Robyn) Krell; step-daughter, Amy Krell; 10 grandchildren and sister, Kathy (Kim) Strayer.

Funeral service is Monday, March 3, 11 a.m. at Braman Mortuary, Southwest Chapel, 6505 South 144th Street in Omaha, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
