McCOOK, Neb. — LaDonna J. Larreau of McCook, age 81, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Hillcrest Nursing Home.
LaDonna was born at Cambridge, Neb., on March 13, 1937, to parents, Albert Lavern and Eola L. (Watson) Kincaid. She married Gary Larreau on July 30, 1954. The couple adopted four children, Carol, Joseph, Mark and Brian. LaDonna was a loving mother, homemaker, and also worked for Hitchcock County and Chase County Sheriff’s Departments as a dispatcher. She also worked for Esquire magazine as an artist.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Gary Larreau; daughter, Carol Brown; son, Mark Larreau; and brothers, Arliegh and Ellis Kincaid.
Survivors include her sons, Joseph Larreau of Texas and Brian Larreau of McCook; sisters, Cheryl Yoder of McCook and Vivian Collins of Holdrege; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Friends may sign her book at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel on Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, during business hours.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge with Pastor Clark Bates officiating.
