He was the son of the late John and Emma (Weber) Kalinski. He grew up in McCook and attended McCook High School.
He entered the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Janet (Veronee) Kalinski; six children, Toni Wherley and husband, Mark, Terri Mills and husband, Jim, Tab Kalinski and wife, Alesia, Troy Kalinski and wife, Dawn, Tyler Kalinski and wife, Denise, and Anthony Allan Veronee.
No services are being planned at this time.
