Viola McBride, 86, of Colorado Springs passed away peacefully on August 22, 2018
Viola was born in McCook, Nebraska to Charles and Martha Clary on September 4, 1931.
She is survived by her three children Michael (Debbie Dalton) McBride, Cheryl (Rick Vondar) McBride Miller, Karen (David) Ende. She was the grandmother of Patrick Miller, Justin Miller, Rachel Ende, Michael Ende and Erin Ende. Additionally Viola is survived by her siblings Betty Sprenkle of Phoenix, AZ., Delbert Clary of Englewood, CO., Alice Marks of Culbertson, NE. and George Clary (deceased).
In her lifetime Viola had many careers and important roles. She was a Military Spouse and homemaker, a hair stylist, with a large clientele of ladies who enjoyed their weekly visits and having her do their hair, a cook and head cook (Panorama Middle School) in Harrison School District, as well as a sales associate at Wal-Mart.
After retiring, Viola joined a senior water aerobics group at the Jetwing YMCA facility. She thoroughly enjoyed her twice weekly aerobics classes where she met many people and established lifelong friendships.
Viola was a member of the Cheyenne Mountain VFW Post 3917 Ladies Auxiliary.
