- Muriel O. Miller, age 90, of Lincoln, NE passed away Monday, October 5, 2021 in Lincoln.
Muriel was born September 25, 1931 in Culbertson, NE to Axel and Ellen S. (Jacobs) Olson. She graduated from McCook High School with the Class of 1949. Muriel then went on to attend Colorado Women's College in Denver, CO.
Muriel married Edwin Miller on May 1, 1953 in McCook. The couple became the proud parents of three children. Along with her husband, Edwin, Muriel owned and operated Miller's Home Decorating from 1977 to 1989. Muriel also volunteered her time by delivering meals through the Meals on Wheels Program. She was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church.
Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edwin Miller; and her brother, Don D. (Donna) Olson.
Those left to celebrate her life include her children, Judy Miller of Lincoln, Mike Miller of Traverse City, MI and Jana (Mike) Halverson, also of Lincoln; three grandchildren, Sarah Halverson, McKenzie Miller and Maddi Miller; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Inurnment will follow in Memorial Park cemetery, McCook.
