Jacqueline McIllmoyle Scott
1931-2014
Jacqueline McIllmoyle Scott died on December 3, 2014. She was the second born of seven children to her loving parents, Catherine McMillin and Eugene Gerald McIllmoyle on August 18, 1931 in McCook, Nebraska. She attended McCook Junior College. She and Stanley Scott were married August 30, 1952. She felt blessed to be a full time wife and mother. She and her husband moved to Houston in 1959 and soon joined St Thomas' Episcopal Church where she was an active member for over 50 years in the choir, teaching Sunday school and volunteering. After meeting Fr.Robert Ingram, the church's founder, just once, she knew she had found her church home for her and her family. She is survived by her husband, "Scotty", three daughters and their husbands: Theresa and Ron Cornett, Diane and Charlie Williams, Sylvia and Sean (deceased) McPartland, and nine grandchildren:Brian Curtice, Erin Curtice Knape, Mark Cornett, Christin Williams Braeuer, Cori Williams Mitchell, Taylor Williams, Brendan, Michael, and Kevin McPartland, plus eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Gen G.E. McIllmoyle, James T. McIllmoyle, Charles McIllmoyle, and sister Berenice Schwarz. She is predeceased by her sisters Patti Brozik, Marien Dicke, and son-in-law Sean McPartland. A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, 4900 Jackwood, Houston, TX 77096 on Saturday, December 6 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to St. Thomas' Espiscopal, the church and school she held so dear.
