Leslie Campbell-Class of 1947 

LESLIE CAMPBELL Leslie Campbell (Les) was born to George and Ethel Campbell in 1929. He grew up in Nebraska, and graduated from McCook High School in 1947. He entered the Army, reporting to Fort Leonard Wood Missouri, then entered Officer Candidate School at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He fought in the Korean War, working as an engineer, and obtained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. After leaving the Army, Les worked as a district manager for Kentile floors in Dallas, Texas, and Torrance, California. Upon his retirement, Les and his wife Evelyn relocated to Helendale, California where they enjoyed golfing and travelling throughout the US and abroad. He was preceded in death by Evelyn after which moved to Apple Valley, California. Les is survived by his daughter Susan (and Greg), and son Scott (and Patti), and grandsons Kyle and Andrew, granddaughter Sarah, and great grandson Nathan and great granddaughter Penny. At Les's request no services or memorial are planned. Les will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery with his beloved wife Evelyn.
